Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Greenhill Primary School. We serve the Seddons Farm Estate and Radcliffe and welcome children from other areas of Bury. We offer an engaging, inclusive and broad education in a safe, caring environment with a strong pastoral team (including SENDCo, trauma-informed practitioner and mental health first aider). We value close partnerships with families and the wider community and are part of Forward As One (Forward As One MAT). Headteacher: Mr Artley.

Curriculum Highlights

Knowledge Organisers provided at the start of each unit with key vocabulary, learning, and timelines Progression across units guided by a Long Term Plan and Medium Term Plans Cross-curricular links where relevant, with some subjects taught discretely when links do not naturally occur Some subjects are taught through published schemes while others are planned by Curriculum Leaders

Admissions Criteria

Over-subscription criteria: Priority 1 – Children with an EHC Plan or Looked After Children; Priority 2 – Children with siblings already attending school; Priority 3 – Catchment area. Distance from the school is used as the final criterion. Nursery intake is 30 as of September 2025. Reception admissions are carried out by the Local Authority; In-Year admissions are available. Open days and tours are arranged to help decisions about Greenhill.
