Admissions Criteria

Hull City Council handles admissions for Horizon Academy Trust schools. Applications for the reception year must be submitted between 1 October 2025 and 15 January 2026. Hull residents apply via the My School Portal with three preferences. If more applications are received than places, oversubscription criteria determine offers. If a place cannot be offered at any preferred school, the child is offered the nearest school with availability. An appeal can be lodged via Hull City Council. Parents may be asked to provide proof of residence and other information; there are options to defer entry and delay entry for summer-born children. Admissions policies for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 are published for reference.

Financial Information

School meals cost £1.70 for pupils in Key Stage 2. Free School Meals are available to eligible families.
