Ethos & Values

Torah values and principles Good character traits Love of G-d Respect for all Growth Self-esteem and confidence Effective communication between children, teachers, parents and the wider community

Priority conferred on Jewish girls who conduct all aspects of their lives in accordance with strictly Orthodox Jewish Practice, as set out in the Shulchan Oruch and Mehalech HaChaim code.

Head Teacher's Message

Yesoiday HaTorah aims to raise the aspirations of our pupils and provide a well-rounded curriculum, integrating the Kodesh (religious) curriculum with general studies. The school emphasizes values, good character, unity within diversity, and invites parent involvement as part of the community. Executive Head Teacher: Rabbi Yodaiken.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum designed to reflect current curriculum expectations; three-tier rollout focusing on knowledge and skills, attitudes and values, and life-skills; explicit links between attitudes, knowledge and life-skills to prepare pupils for their next stage.

Admissions Criteria

Yesoiday HaTorah Girls Academy Admission Policy states: for September 2025, admission number is sixty (60). Applications are considered without reference to the child’s ability or aptitude. In oversubscription, priority is given to Jewish girls who conduct all aspects of their lives in accordance with strictly Orthodox Jewish Practice as set out in the Shulchan Oruch and in particular the Mehalech HaChaim code. Oversubscription criteria: A looked after Jewish child; Charedi Jewish children with siblings in Yesoiday HaTorah Girls Academy or Yesoiday HaTorah Boys Academy at the same address; Children from “Charedi” families; Other looked after children; Other children. Tie Breaker: distance from home to the academy main gate. If places remain for twins/triplets, both are offered. Attendance at Yocheved Segal Nursery does not grant priority. The academy will admit any child named in an Education Health and Care Plan that names the academy. Late applications are treated after on-time ones; there is often no vacancy due to oversubscription. In-year applications may be rejected or offered where not prejudicing education/resources.

Financial Information

The Academy is funded directly from Central Government.
