Welcome to Moorland Primary School and Nursery. Headteacher Angela Garner expresses pride in the school community and children, emphasising the motto “Together we can” and a commitment to improving life chances for every child.
Clubs
Nursery admissions: Applications to Nursery are made directly to the school. Up to 26 part-time places (15 hours per week, Monday to Friday mornings). Afternoon spaces available for children with 30-hour funding; documentation required to support applications (birth certificate or passport and proof of address, e.g. Council Tax statement, Council Tax Benefit letter, or Council Tax exemption certificate). School admissions: The Campfire Education Trust (the admissions authority for Moorland Primary School) has set the number of Reception places for the school year beginning September 2025 at 30. The Local Authority admissions service (Milton Keynes City Council) handles allocations; oversubscription places are allocated according to the rank order of oversubscription criteria detailed in the Admissions Policy document. Pupils with an Education Health and Care Plan that names the school must be admitted. In-year applications are handled by Milton Keynes City Council.
