Milton Keynes Council is responsible for admissions to Hanslope Primary School. The Local Authority sets a limit each year on the number of children who can be admitted at the age of five (Foundation) and at the age of seven (Year 3). The admission number is 60 at age 5 and 45 at age 7. The school has a reserved area that includes all of Hanslope Parish and Castlethorpe Parish (with some exclusions). In Milton Keynes, admissions are allocated according to the Council’s published criteria; there is one point of entry and, if oversubscribed, places are allocated according to MK Council admissions criteria. Applications should be returned as early as possible. Places outside the reserved area are subject to the Information for Parents booklet and may be offered only the term before a child is due to start.
