Woodford Church of England Primary School is a Church of England school and forms part of the Diocese of Peterborough. Our church values permeate all aspects of our school, providing a strong moral and ethical compass for all pupils of the Christian faith and other faiths to follow. We accept pupils of all faiths, but we do follow the values and virtues of the Christian faith. We have strong links with our community and St Mary’s Church who deliver collective worship every week to the whole school.
Welcome to Woodford Church of England Primary School. The Principal describes Woodford as a small, friendly school with over 110 pupils aged 2–11, a calm atmosphere, and a hardworking staff team. It emphasises happy, well-behaved children, high expectations, and the belief that happy children learn best; the school aims to help every child flourish and to promote knowledge, right actions, leadership and teamwork under the motto "Shine among them like stars in the sky."
