Head Teacher's Message

Head Teacher K O’Connor introduces Alfred Lord Tennyson School as a new combined primary formed on 1 September 2023 from Tennyson Road Infant and Alfred Street Junior. The school aims to be a small, one-form-entry, nurturing community with a broad curriculum, strong pastoral care, and active community links (Royal British Legion affiliation; collaboration with Rushden Rotary Club and local churches). The school plans to merge onto the Alfred Street site in September 2025 after building work, and offers a Family Support Worker and Learning Mentor to support families.

Curriculum Highlights
