SEND Provision

SEND policy includes SEND Sensory Service and an Additional Resources Provision for Hearing Impairment (HI ARP). All children with an EHCP have been invited to attend school on site, including those for whom applications have been made, and where possible will continue to receive in-class support as set out in their plan. For SEND pupils at home, staff from the Student Support team will be in regular contact with families, and class teachers will continue to set work appropriate for the student; HIARP remote learning arrangements are described, including HIARP staff phoning parents, daily updates via a HIARP Remote Learning folder, captions added to online lessons where possible, weekly 1:1 tutorials from Week 2, and weekly welfare check calls. In the event of long-term closure, HIARP staff will support remote learning and exam access arrangements as described.
