Sacred Heart Catholic High School is founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the traditions of the Society of the Sacred Heart. The school aims to provide a broad, balanced curriculum, and to develop students who are respected for their personal worth and dignity, guided and supported in spiritual growth, and encouraged to engage with environmental, social and cultural issues. The five Sacred Heart goals guiding the ethos are Faith, Intellect, Social Awareness, Community and Personal Growth, and the school maintains a Catholic ethos within daily life and learning, linked to the Sacred Heart network internationally.

Head Teacher's Message

The Headteacher's Welcome emphasises that Sacred Heart offers an outstanding education with examination results continually excellent, placing the school in the top 3% of similar schools for GCSE. At A level, a third of grades are A*/A or Distinction/Distinction*, enabling progression to top universities and apprenticeships. The message highlights strong home–school relationships, high behavioural standards, wide-ranging extra‑curricular activities, and a commitment to nurturing each girl's talents within a caring, aspirational environment.
