I am immensely proud to be the Head Teacher of Team Cuddington. Our school community thrives on working together to create inspiring learning experiences for children, engaging opportunities for parents, and a supportive environment for staff. We emphasise that no child is left behind, focusing on emotional, social and academic progress, with core values of respect, collaboration and aspiration. As part of Create Learning Trust, we collaborate with other schools to create opportunities and support for our pupils.

Art: The school uses the Paul Carney Primary Art, Craft, and Design Progression to structure art education; knowledge is positioned at the heart of the curriculum with progression statements for EYFS, KS1, LKS2, and UKS2; sketchbooks are used as a visual record of progress; pupil voice informs assessment and display. Knowledge at the heart of the curriculum; progression is mapped to Bloom’s revised taxonomy; end-of-age-phase progression statements in drawing, painting, media, ideas, knowledge and evaluation. Art is used to develop creativity, technique, and critical reflection; sketchbooks document individual development over time. Art provision emphasises knowledge of artists, experimentation with media, and responsive feedback to support creativity.
