Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher: Mrs S Chesney-Ly; Headteacher since February 2021; Ofsted graded Good in all areas in July 2024; School aims to provide a warm, welcoming environment and supports pupils to become successful learners, responsible citizens and resilient individuals.

Admissions Criteria

Applications for places at Newtown Primary School are welcomed from families living in any Local Authority. The application process varies between Local Authorities, so please contact the Local Authority in which the child lives for further information. We have 15-hour and 30-hour nursery places. Nursery sessions are mornings 8:30-11:30, afternoons 12:15-15:15, or all day 8:30-15:15. To apply for a nursery place, please contact the school office.
