Holy Cross is a Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School. It was founded by the La Sainte Union order and is part of the Christus Catholic Trust. The school is Christ-centred and based on Gospel values. The RE programme is based on the Come and See scheme. The school celebrates daily religious assemblies, and class Masses are held for Key Stage 2 on a rota basis; Sacramental preparation is organized with parish catechists. The spirituality of the school is enhanced by a Prayer Garden and mediation in classes. Holy Cross participates in liturgy with Parish involvement and aims to help children develop a personal relationship with God.
Holy Cross is a small one-form-entry Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School for boys and girls with a part-time nursery. It is Christ-centred, inclusive, and aims to educate the whole child within a diverse curriculum and wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Breakfast Club runs 7.30am–8.30am, £5 per day, per child, with a healthy breakfast and activities; After School Club runs 3.15pm–6.00pm, £14 per day, per child, with a meal and activities.
