The Seeds School has trained professionals in school including First Aiders, a Behaviour Support Team, a Liaison Officer, Counsellors, an Inclusion Team and Subject Specialists. Outside agencies include The Autism Outreach Team, The Physical and Sensory Team, Education Psychologists, CAMHS, Speech and Language Therapy services, Connexions, Social workers and a School Health Advisor.
Day pupils with an Education Health and Care Plan are admitted following a referral from Local Authorities. The majority of our students are admitted between 14-16 years of age with special educational needs as a result of a learning disability combined with difficult or challenging behaviour. A young person does not need specific qualifications to secure a place with us. The Seeds School accepts young people from all backgrounds. Our Admissions Manager, Karen Rolls, will liaise with the referring agent to arrange visits, with transition support and a formal offer following the visit.
