CHS South opened in 2018 as an 11-16 eight-form entry school. It provides 240 places per year, creating a 1,200-student community. A brand-new building opened in September 2021. Headteacher David Prophet describes CHS South as a diverse, creative, and aspirational school with a broad enrichment curriculum, strong sports and arts provision, and a welcoming community.
