Welcome to Cheadle Hulme Primary School. A welcome message from Joe Maguire, Executive Head of School, highlighting a warm welcome for prospective pupils and a commitment to high standards and partnership with families.

Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of the curriculum with termly Curriculum Bookshelves linked to the UN Rights of the Child. Six character traits embedded in the curriculum: bravery, citizenship, curiosity, gratitude, integrity, kindness. Curriculum subjects include Early Reading & Phonics, Art & Design, Computing, Design & Technology, English – Writing, Geography, History, Languages, Maths, Music, PE, PSHE, Religious Education, Science.

Admissions Criteria

The school has 60 Reception places. If more than 60 applications are received, priority will be given to children in accordance with the oversubscription criteria which can be found in the Admissions Policy below. Cheadle Hulme Primary does not have a catchment area. Offers will be made by the Local Authority. In Year Applications are co-ordinated by the Local Authority.
