Headteacher Andy De Angelis welcomes families to Bolder Academy, emphasising a nurturing environment where brave, kind and strong individuals are supported. Curriculum Highlights

EBacc: Currently two thirds of Year 10 study the EBacc subjects. Extended school day Monday to Thursday as part of the Being Bold programme (varied extra-curricular activities). Promotes reading for pleasure and for academic purposes as part of developing cultural capital.

SEND Provision

The Academy’s SENDCo is Priti Malhotra. She has regular contact with parents and carers of students she works with. Kirsty Rothwell is the Academy's Deputy SENCo. David Brockie is the SEND Governor. During the review and assessment process of SEND, we work in partnership with students, parents and carers to ensure the very best provision. We also work closely with students who have SEN and disability needs transferring to Bolder Academy. The Academy also works with a number of other agencies to support and deliver effective provision for students with SEN and disability needs. Admissions Criteria

Bolder Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school with 180 places per year group. For admissions, contact Secondary Admissions, Education Department, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN. Hounslow Council Admissions Webpage. Parents/carers should complete their home Local Authority Common Application Form and should list Bolder Academy as one of their preferences on that form. Appeals details for students not granted a place at Bolder Academy are also included in the Admissions Policy. Admissions Policy 2024-2025 2025-2026 2026-2027. In-year Admissions and Transfers: We welcome applications for in-year transfers during term time via the London Borough of Hounslow.
