We actively promote diversity through our celebrations of different faiths and cultures. Religious Education lessons and PSHE lessons reinforce messages of tolerance and respect for others. Major celebrations are covered in whole school and class assemblies.
The academy has a Designated Special Provision for up to 24 children with significant to severe learning difficulties serving Corby and the surrounding villages. It provides an inclusive provision for pupils who require arrangements beyond that which an everyday mainstream school can provide through an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They may need additional teaching to help them with their learning, speech, language and communication needs. Children are mainly taught within the class groups with some withdrawal facilities available for specialist or small group teaching. Plans are created to support transitions and bespoke programmes as needed. SENDCo for special provision: Mrs Karen Neville; mainstream SENDCo: Miss Gemma Murison.
