Headteacher Mrs Gaynor Jones expresses pride in Westfield School, a commitment to supporting and challenging every student to achieve incredible things, and to ensuring happiness and success; highlights community ties and school improvement priorities including a broad and ambitious curriculum, responsive teaching, exceptional attitudes to learning, and a leadership culture focused on students.

The school site and buildings are managed by Kier Facilities Six wings of learning spaces Dedicated accommodation for students with special educational needs Many fully fitted ICT rooms Nine science laboratories Art and Technology Department facilities (art, textiles, food, graphics and design and technology) Performing Arts facilities including two music rooms, a soundproof studio box and two performance rooms Sports facilities including a 25 m swimming pool, large sports hall, fitness suite, activity centre, all-weather floodlit pitches and hard games courts Westfield Sports Centre is available to the public outside school hours
