The school provides positive intervention and works in partnership with other agencies to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The SENDCo coordinates assessment and plans appropriate support and interventions, with a focus on removing barriers to learning and helping all pupils progress; areas of SEND commonly addressed include Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and Sensory and/or Physical Difficulties.
