"Working together to do our best"
Welcombe Hills is a 3–19 special needs school in Stratford upon Avon, part of Unity MAT, with two sites (Blue Cap Road main site and Drayton Avenue Hub). The school emphasizes inclusion, care, meaningful and challenging learning, personal development, communication and independence, and aims to prepare pupils for life beyond school. The motto is 'Working together to do our best' and the ethos centres on a caring, safe environment and partnership with families and professionals.
As a SEN school, admissions are controlled by the Local Authority (LA). Places are only offered to children or young people with an EHCP and cannot be offered directly by the school. The headteacher can refuse a request if the pupil is outside of the operational brief or if all places are already allocated. At present, all places are allocated.
