Al-Madani Independent Grammar School (AMIGS) is a selective independent school. Students must pass both an entrance exam and an interview to be accepted. In addition to the initial application form, parents must submit photocopy of the child’s birth certificate or passport, a passport-style photograph, proof of address (e.g., council tax, utility bill), and proof of payment of the non-refundable application processing fee (£150 for the 2024 academic year). After the exam, results are given as pass or fail; the next stage is a structured interview with the Headmaster and another senior school official, with offers sent to successful applicants after both stages.
The fee for the 2025/26 academic year is £5,000 excluding VAT. As of January 2025, VAT applies, making the total £6,000. Fees are payable by bank transfer to Abu Haneefa Educational Trust (Natwest Slough, A/c 1432 4245, Sort Code 01-08-15). The academic year is 10 months long, with ten monthly payments of £500 excluding VAT starting October 1. On entry, the first payment must cover the entire first term plus a £150 registration fee. After the first term, future payments for the remainder of the first year and for subsequent years are also by bank transfer. An application processing fee of £150 is non-refundable.
