Curriculum Highlights

Two-year Key Stage 3 curriculum in English, Maths, Science, Music, Drama, Dance, PE, Art, Modern Foreign Languages, Geography, History, ICT and Technology with PSHE, SRE & RE delivered cross-curricular. Key Stage 4 core programme of English Language/Literature, Maths, Science, PE and 4 option choices including GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals. Post-16 provision with courses leading to A Level and BTEC Level 3; collaborative Sixth Form provision (Central Sixth) with other local high schools; progression rates to university and Higher Apprenticeships; proactive information, advice and guidance (IAG).

Admissions Criteria

Coppice School is an Academy and a member of The Central Learning Partnership Trust. The Trust is the admission authority for the school. The policy for 2025/26 relates to the admission of pupils to Coppice School only; Heath Park School and Moseley Park School have separate admissions policies. An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. When more applications are received than places, the published oversubscription criteria in the admission policy will be applied. The full admission policy for 2024/25 can be downloaded; Parents can request a hard copy by contacting the school office. Deadline for applications: 31st October.
