Clubs
Thornhill Academy provides SEN provision including access to a teaching assistant for part or all of lessons, a differentiated curriculum, additional intervention sessions around numeracy and literacy, access to break/lunchtime provision, a time-out pass, safe spaces, behavioural support, school counselling/mentoring, and small group or 1:1 support. Staff have SEN toolkits (reading rulers, ear defenders, fidget toys, coloured screens, magnifiers, regulation fans) and resources are stored securely for future access. External agencies may be involved (Educational Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, CAMHS, Autism Outreach Team, PAEDIATRICIANS, CYPs, etc.). Parents are involved through termly SEN review meetings to assess progress and adjust provision.
