Our small special school values all our learners equally, recognising their individual strengths, barriers and aspirations.

Curriculum Highlights

Learners follow a pathway system from school entry. Range of accredited courses in secondary including pre-entry and entry qualifications – functional skills and B Tech. Academic learning complemented by a joint educational and therapeutic model with an in-house therapy team (Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, School Counsellor).

Admissions Criteria

All young people must have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or be in the process of an assessment for an EHCP. Admissions range from Year R to Year 13 on the primary and secondary sites; PDA pathway pupils may cross sites; priority is given to Sutton and Croydon local authorities, with oversubscription handling and potential cost-sharing if LEA commissioned places are exceeded. Class sizes are small with a maximum of 10 learners per class; standard number on roll is 163.
