The Comets Resource Base is a specialist provision for pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD). All pupils attending the Resource Base have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP). Places are allocated through the BANES SEND team; the base is within Midsomer Norton Primary School and has spaces available.
The Resource Base is a 10-place specialist provision for pupils in primary education. Places are applied for via the Local Authority SEND team (BANES City Council). Pupils must have an EHCP with a primary need of SPLD; spaces are currently available.
Sunbeams Nursery (Sunbeams) hourly rate from 1 September 2025 is £6.40 per hour for any additional hours beyond funded hours.
