The school has a Local Authority Key Stage 3 and 4 Designated Provision for Cognition and Learning Needs. All students within the Designated Provision have an Education and Health Care Plan. Students are taught in a calm, nurturing, self-contained environment. Where possible, Year 4 students follow a GCSE/BTEC route while also working towards a range of Entry Level Certificates. The group regularly receives AQA certificates celebrating both academic and life skills. The provision also follows the ASDAN programme focusing on skills such as teamwork, independent learning, and problem solving. The school aims to challenge the children academically and, where possible, encourage students to access mainstream lessons. There is a focus on speech and language development, social skills development and independence. The school also has a partnership with Warrington Wolves.
