Excellence Kindness and Respect Empowerment

Reading Girls’ School is a multicultural community with 17 different ethnic groups and over 50 languages spoken, and pupils are exposed to many beliefs, faiths and identities.

Head Teacher's Message

The Principal, Marika Farrugia, welcomes readers and emphasises a focus on academic excellence alongside the development of thoughtful and mindful citizens who respect the world around them. The school notes a strong history of academic success and announces the launch of Sixth Form in September 2025, with Level 3 courses, extra-curricular activities, work experience and university visits.

The SEND department is committed to ensuring that every student with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is given the opportunity to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
