Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Girnhill Infant School. Our staff, children, parents, carers and governors warmly welcome you. Leaders are passionate that our children get the best opportunities. We believe in a curriculum that engages them with enriching activities that foster a love of learning to enable them to succeed in life. We provide a warm, friendly, caring, nurturing learning environment where our children are at the centre of all we do. Our core values permeate every aspect of our school life and everyone in our school community embraces them. From the very start of their education, our children are encouraged, supported and challenged to be the best they can be, with opportunities presented to them to ignite their curiosity.

Breakfast Club runs in the school hall each morning from 7.45am to 8.45am. Booking for a place is via Arbor or by contacting the school office. The club provides a positive start to the day with cereals, fruit, toast and a cold drink; supervised with games, activities and books, and children are escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day.
