"Pupils, families, community: learning and working together"
Rushy Meadow aims to provide a safe, secure, and happy community where children’s curiosity and creativity are nurtured through a broad and engaging curriculum. Children are challenged to be independent, resilient and aspirational, with a motto of Pupils, families, community: learning and working together.
Rushy Meadow intends to admit 60 Reception pupils each academic year; currently 26 children (aged 3–4 years) are admitted to nursery for a morning session. Entry into the Hearing Impaired Resource Base (HIRB) is through the Local Authority SEN Panel for children whose EHCP lists hearing impairment as the primary need; interested families should speak to their child’s SEN caseworker. The school welcomes visits before application (autumn term) and provides contact details for the Trust's Admissions Officer.
