Welcome from the Head of School, highlighting Bisham C of E Academy as a small, one-form entry school near the River Thames with strong home–school partnerships, a reading-led curriculum, immersion experiences (residentials, trips), and emphasis on enabling every child to reach their potential within a Christian environment.

Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of the curriculum. Systematic synthetic phonics is used to secure early reading. Visits from authors throughout the year to share inspiration for writing. Every day opportunities to read for pleasure, guided reading sessions, and listening to stories read by teachers. Immersion days, school residentials, trips and a broad curriculum across subjects including arts, sciences and sport.
