The school has a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) who supports children with a wide range of academic, physical and social needs. Interventions may be classroom-based or withdrawn, often in small group or one-to-one sessions. The school works closely with children, staff, parents and other agencies, with inclusion at the core. Identification of SEND involves gathering information from parents and services prior to entry; progress is monitored; if needed, SEND Support plans are used with a plan-do-review cycle involving pupils and families.
Reception to Year 2 are entitled to free school meals. School meals for Years 3 to 6 cost £2.30 per day.
