Admissions Criteria

Nursery admissions: deadline end of February for September intake; single September intake; standard intake number for the school is 60. Reception and other admissions are administered by the Local Authority (Manchester City Council). Oversubscription criteria include Looked After Children, siblings, and distance from the school. Waiting lists may apply; appeals handled through the Local Authority. Nursery and reception procedures and forms are available on site. Details for secondary applications and feeder patterns are provided, with Manchester City Council handling allocations.

Financial Information

Nursery: 30 hours of free childcare (15 hours statutory, up to 15 hours extended entitlement means-tested). If extended entitlement is not applicable or used, there is a charge of £15 per week to cover additional 2.5 hours. Full-time nursery place costs are currently £90 per week. Part-time nursery places are available (half weeks with specific day allocations).
