Head Teacher's Message

Dave Bennett MBE, Executive Headteacher, describes The Winstanley School as a small, oversubscribed 640-student community in Braunstone Town. It is part of the LiFE MAT and houses the SHINE Centre (a 15-place SEMH provision). The school aims to be a 'gateway of hope' with an inclusive, aspirational culture where students can shine brighter. The SHINE values underpin the work and include leadership and a commitment to inclusion and opportunity for all.
