The Governors ensure that the development and co-ordination of special educational provision is an integral part of the development of the school. They are committed to ensuring that the best possible education is provided for those who need it.
Admissions follow the local admissions code with oversubscription criteria based on feeder schools; Year 7 oversubscription list exists and there are waitlists for Year 7 (Years 8–11 have no waitlists). The school is planned to expand from 900 to 1050 places, with a Year 7 intake of 210 students from 2025-2026, increasing gradually to a maximum of 1050.
