Headteacher Jeff Place welcomes visitors to de Stafford School and emphasises outstanding teaching, safeguarding, enrichment, and partnership with parents and the GLF Trust to provide a challenging, supportive learning environment with opportunities such as Duke of Edinburgh and a broad curriculum.

Curriculum Highlights

KS3 is broad and balanced, with English, Maths, Science, Spanish, Design Technology, Food and Nutrition, PE, RE, Computing, Geography, History, Music, Drama, Art and PSHE taught in Years 7–8 Year 9 Curriculum Personalisation allows tailoring through selecting three subjects from the original Year 7/8 subjects, plus additional options such as Business Studies, Citizenship, Media Studies, Creative iMedia and Sports Studies/PE GCSE options start in Year 10 with three pathways: Pathway 1 (Spanish plus two options), Pathway 2 (three options), Pathway 3 (Additional Core plus two options) All students study History or Geography (and can study both) Year 11 (legacy) process involved selecting four subjects with some specified options Documents include Year 7–11 Curriculum Maps for 2025–2026
