I am delighted to welcome you to Alderwood Primary School. We are a small, diverse and extremely friendly one-form entry primary school in Royal Greenwich. Our values—Unity, Resilience, Honesty, Respect, Kindness and Positivity—underpin everything we do, and our calm, supportive environment helps every child thrive. Wooded environment for Forest School

Curriculum Highlights

French is taught as the Modern Foreign Language (KS2). Weekly Forest School sessions for Reception and Sycamore Class in a woodland environment. Spirit of the Games (PE) and Compass Sports Day. Music curriculum led by Mr Gregory with opportunities for instrumental tuition and choir. Whole School Projects across the year, including themes from music, art, places of interest and current events.

Admissions Criteria

First priority will go to children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) naming Alderwood Primary School. After this, if there are more applicants than places available, refer to the school's admissions policy for the priority order. If your child has not been offered a place, you have the right to appeal.
