Welcome to Hamstel Infant School and Nursery. We are a thriving hub of infant and early years education on a shared site with our partner junior school and on-site Children and Family Centre. We are part of the Portico Academy Trust and guided by our core values 'We Care', which emphasize care for each child and for the school community. The school is committed to safeguarding and welfare, with leadership led by Mr S. Roche (Principal). Our vision and values emphasize providing the best learning opportunities and developing confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Clubs
Breakfast Club: Munchies Breakfast Club runs daily from 7:45am in the large Children’s Centre Room. Entrance through the main front entrance. Cost is £3.50 per day. Booking and payment in advance via Arbor. After School Club: Daily Extended After School Club runs daily from 3:00pm to 5:45pm (with a 4:15pm-5:45pm option). Also a 4:15-5:45 session including a light tea for those attending a club first. Booking via Arbor and payment via ParentPay. Fees: £11 per session (3:20–5:45 with Tea), £7 for 3:20–4:30 (no Tea), £7 for 4:15–5:45 (with Tea). Breakfast and After School clubs are hosted in the large Children’s Centre Room; bookings and terms referenced in club policies on the school website.
