SEND Provision

Court Lane Infant School is committed to providing an inclusive curriculum for all, regardless of need or ability, which will enable children to flourish. The school aims to identify and assess pupils with SEND early and thoroughly, ensure full access to a broad and balanced education, involve children, parents and staff through a graduated assess–plan–do–review approach, and involve children in school life and decision-making. The Governing Body will ensure appropriate SEND provision and references include Inclusion Policy, SEND Report 2025-2026, and Infant Parents Guide to SEND Support; SENCO contact is Mrs A. Ventham and Deputy Headteacher is Mrs L. Wilson-Woodham.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are overseen by the University of Chichester Academy Trust (the admission authority) and Portsmouth City Council coordinates admissions for state-funded schools. Online applications for entry to Reception in September 2026 open 3 November 2025 to 15 January 2026, with notification on national offer day (16 April 2026). In-year applications are handled via Portsmouth City Council. Documents include Admissions Policy 2027-28, Admissions Policy 2026-27, and Admissions Appeals 2025, 2024, and 2023.
