"we gave every student his or her GCSE passport to success."
Park Lane Academy aims to maximise every child’s potential through high-quality teaching, pastoral care and a values-driven ethos founded on Respect, Ambition and Pride.
Park Lane Academy is non-selective, serving mixed-ability students from the local community. The published Year 7 admission number (PAN) is 120. In-year admissions follow Calderdale Council arrangements. Oversubscription criteria prioritise looked-after or previously looked-after children, pupils living within the defined priority catchment area who have a brother or sister currently attending the school, other pupils living within the catchment area, and then other children; distance is used as a tie-break. Late applications are considered after those received on time; there is provision for in-year transfers upon request.
