Curriculum Highlights

National Curriculum objectives are taught through the Dar ul Madinah Curriculum. EYFS: Follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework; seven areas of learning; three prime areas; four additional areas; Music and ICT; independent child-led learning; timetable allows flexibility. KS1 & KS2: Curriculum includes National Curriculum plus Arabic and Islamic Studies; long-term curriculum plans per year group; emphasis on the ‘invisible curriculum’ (how pupils are treated and expected to behave); some specialist teaching in Arabic and Islamic Studies; transition activities planned into Year 2 and Year 6; plans reviewed annually; curriculum is tailored to meet needs including SEND. The curriculum aims to be challenging, accessible to all, and supports independent learning, collaborative work, and the development of knowledge and skills; teachers adapt plans to meet objectives and pupil needs.

Admissions Criteria

Parents can register their child through our online registration portal or visit Darul Madinah in person to complete the process. Upon successful registration of your child’s eligibility, the administration team will promptly contact you to guide you through the subsequent steps. The reception application deadline is in January of each academic year. Limited spaces in each class.

Financial Information

Fees for 2025-2026: Reception to Year 6: £1,800 per year plus VAT = £2,160.
