"Where performance matters"
LIPA Sixth Form College is a free school dedicated to training students aged 16-18 in the performing and creative arts, with the motto 'Where performance matters'. It emphasises industry practice, opportunities within courses, and aims to prepare students for Higher Education or employment in the creative arts. The college operates a project-based learning approach in a small, specialist environment, supported by staff, with a focus on independent learning, resilience and collaboration, mirroring industry practice and not a traditional 9-to-5 schedule.
LIPA Sixth Form College has been reaccredited for the SEND Inclusion Award (SENDIA) in 2023 after achieving this award originally in 2019. The SENDIA accreditation focuses on outcomes for pupils, self-evaluation, action planning, and evidence collection; the SEND report is available for download; contact the SENDCO for details.
