Ethos & Values

"Christ’s Love is our Foundation"

Faith Justice Compassion Truth Respect

As a Catholic school, our mission is to always put Christ at the centre of everything we do in school life and to recognise the spirit of the risen Lord being present and alive in our school community in the ordinary events of everyday life – in academic studies, pastoral care, religious life and personal formation. We strive to live out the values of Christ’s Gospel through our school values of Faith, Justice, Compassion, Truth and Respect, and prayer is important; Chaplaincy supports liturgy, prayer and the spiritual life of the school. The school is part of Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust.

Head Teacher's Message

We are rightfully proud of our community: children, staff and parents. The school has worked hard to create a calm and ordered learning environment where there is a genuine excitement about learning. Leaders in school have a vision for a community that stands out to others as a beacon for learning with a drive for the inclusion of all.

SEND Provision

The school follows a graduated SEND support model: Wave 1 provisions differentiate lessons across the curriculum; department-level small group interventions may be offered; Wave 2 provisions are allocated when needs are not met at classroom/department level and may include additional one-to-one support, Literacy/Numeracy Interventions, and other targeted strategies; if further support is needed, outside agencies are involved and an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is in place, with applications for high needs funding or EHC plans as necessary.
