Religious Education follows the Northamptonshire Locally Agreed Syllabus; RE is part of the Humanities Faculty; Core RE is compulsory and parents may withdraw; GCSE RS and A Level Philosophy are offered.
Graham Forbes, Headteacher, welcomes visitors to Sponne School. The motto is "Dream, Believe, Achieve" and the school aims to help young people reach their goals. The Learning Support Faculty is led by the SENCo, Claire Cutler. Provision includes a dedicated SEN classroom for KS3 literacy, a team of Learning Facilitators, lunchtime and after-school homework clubs, a Lead Learning Facilitator for Social Communication Needs, individual mentoring for some students with Autistic Spectrum Difficulties, and exam access arrangements after assessment.
