Porters Grange is an academy within the Portico Academy Trust and Southend Borough Council allocates places for Porters Grange Primary School. Nursery is available the term after a child’s 3rd birthday with sessions 8.45am–11.45am or 12.15pm–3.15pm (term-time only). For September admissions, applications close on 1 July; January admissions close on 1 December; April admissions close on 1 March. For 2026/27, intake information indicates applications for September 2026 should be made between 14 September 2025 and 15 January 2026.
