Head Teacher's Message

Head Teacher Suzanne Kelly welcomes visitors and highlights a values-led school with core values including Be Kind. The curriculum is described as LEARN, driving engaging, ambitious, relevant and nurturing learning. Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound care is available all year around with exception of the last day of the full term when children finish early at 2pm. Breakfast Club: £3.50 per day. Shine Bright after-school care: £10 from home time – 4.30pm per day; £15 from home time 3.30pm – 5.30pm per day; £18 from home time 3.30pm – 6.00pm per day. Both Breakfast Club and Shine Bright can be attended on an ad-hoc basis and should be booked via the schools payment app (Teachers2Parents) and booked no later than the night before the day of attendance. Extra-curricular Clubs run from home time to 4.30pm and begin 1 to 2 weeks after the start of the term and end 1 to 2 before the end of the full term. Breakfast club runs from 08:00. Shine Bright (after-school care) finishes at 18:00. If you wish to pay for after school care via childcare vouchers/your government tax-free childcare account, please contact the school office to arrange this.

Admissions Criteria

Thomas's Academy follows the agreed Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council procedures for admissions for Reception and Years 1 to 6 and Nursery admissions are made directly to the school. Statutory consultation on proposed changes to admissions for 2027-28 includes removal of priority given to current nursery pupils for reception and potential priority for children of staff (after siblings). The consultation runs 15 December 2025 to 30 January 2026. To respond, contact the relevant Trust/School offices.

Financial Information

Nursery: All children aged three and four are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education. An additional 15 free hours are available to eligible parents. For five full-time days per week, parents must use the full childcare allocation with the school. For those not eligible for the 30-hour code and requiring a full-time place, the charge is £150 per week, billed termly. A deposit of £100 is required on acceptance of a full-time place. Full-time meals are £2.80 per day (£14 per week). Wrap-around care is available at an additional charge.
