Hayfield Cross Church of England School is a Church of England primary school in the Diocese of Peterborough. We are very proud to be a Church of England School and our Christian Values of Joy, Integrity and Fellowship underpin all that we do. We are a Voluntary Aided maintained school in the Deanery of the Diocese of Peterborough. Representatives from both Churches are on our Governing Board and we have opportunities to visit both Churches through the year. Our two churches are The Church of Christ the King and St Botolph’s Church. Daily collective worship is delivered by clergy from our two Churches and children share a school prayer each day. The RE curriculum uses the Locally Agreed Syllabus, enriched by Understanding Christianity, with support from the Peterborough Diocese.
Welcome to Hayfield Cross Church of England School. Headteacher Richard Albert describes Hayfield Cross as a uniquely thinking school focused on providing the very best learning experiences, guided by a Christian vision, with pupils encouraged to be brave in their learning and to celebrate achievements.
