St Philip's Catholic Primary School has a strong Catholic ethos with a faith-based curriculum. It emphasises Catholic life, prayer and liturgy, and a partnership with the Parish. The school promotes respect for others, multifaith engagement, and a daily culture of faith and tradition. In 2025 a Catholic Schools Inspectorate report described the school as a very good Catholic school with an outstanding Catholic life.

After School Care options include 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm (£6.00), 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm (£9.00), and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (£10.00), plus an After Activity Club (4:15 pm – 6:00 pm) (£5.00). Late pickup fee is £1 per minute after 6:00 pm. The service supports Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit Childcare. Enrollment is via Registration Form or Arbor App, with payments through Arbor.

Admissions Criteria

Nursery Admissions (Age 3) are made directly to the school via an online form; Nursery place does not guarantee a place in the main school. Reception Admissions (Age 4) are processed through Sandwell Council online. In-Year Admissions are processed by Sandwell Council. Open Mornings are scheduled (examples given: 15 Oct 2025 and 20 Oct 2025). Oversubscription and appeals guidance is through Sandwell Council; enquiries can be made via the school office ([email protected], 0121 558 1643).

Financial Information

School dinners cost £2.40 per day.
