Welcome from Headteacher Renata Joseph: an inclusive, co-educational academy with a strong Christian ethos, specialising in Music and Mathematics, where teaching is described as exceptional and the curriculum aims to be challenging with high expectations and abundant opportunities for students.

The Bethany Centre provides comprehensive support and inclusion across the school, meeting the needs of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs, English as an additional language, or personal challenges like bereavement. The centre hosts coffee mornings and drop-in sessions and works with outside agencies as needed.
Year 7 admissions: 180 places total. 90 Foundation places offered to children whose parents/guardians are practising members of a Christian church and 90 Open places; within these, nine Foundation and nine Open places are allocated for Specialist Music. Applications follow Local Authority Common Application Form; supplementary forms are required for Foundation and/or Specialist Music places; religious reference for Foundation places requires attendance of twice a month for at least two years. Open places are offered to children living nearest to the school by straight-line distance.
