SEND Provision

SEND provision is delivered through a three-tier approach: Universal (high-quality teaching with adaptations as needed), Targeted (one-to-one or small group support, with external specialists where appropriate), and Specialist (long-term external input when required). The SENDCo is Suham Velia, Inclusion Manager. If needed, external agencies may be involved; an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) may be pursued after assessment; families are consulted and permissions sought before referrals; accessibility aids and technology may be used to support learning. The Accessibility Plan is regularly reviewed.

Admissions Criteria

Oversubscription criteria for Reception: Looked-after children; children with exceptional medical or social need for a place; children with siblings at WPA; children of staff; those living nearest to the school. In the event of equal rankings, random allocation determines offers.
