SEND Provision

Pupils have EHCPs (with some having additional needs). SENDCo lead personnel are Jamie Marsh (Springwell Special School) and Lucy Boote (Springwell Alternative Academy). The school conducts annual reviews and writes personalised SEN (SEN) plans for pupils, uses a graduated approach, involves parents in reviews, and offers transition planning to support moving between phases and into adulthood. Regular communication with families is provided by the pastoral team and key worker system.

Admissions Criteria

Springwell Special Academy admissions are via SEND consultation; Springwell Alternative Academy admissions are via Fair Access.
